TapTechNews learned that this reform will cover the local five major vehicle manufacturers such as NIO, Changan, BYD, JAC, and Volkswagen Anhui.
Before the pilot, consumers need to bring the vehicle to the vehicle management office to handle the new car registration business and conduct on-site inspection.
After the pilot, after consumers purchase a car through the Internet and direct-sale stores, the car manufacturing enterprise, 4S store or trading company will pre-enter the sales circulation data such as the purchase invoice and certificate of compliance through the Internet Traffic Safety Comprehensive Service Management Platform to realize information sharing with the traffic control department.
Consumers can choose to log in to the Traffic Management 12123 App to handle the new car registration online, and when choosing to handle the new car registration at the vehicle management office, they are also exempt from on-site inspection of the vehicle, realizing purchasing a car and licensing it immediately.
After the pre-inspection mode pilot, consumers are exempt from inspecting the vehicle when registering a new car and can handle it directly online, which takes only 10 minutes at the fastest.
