InWin Releases ModFree Mini ITX Chassis Series

TapTechNews May 23rd, InWin recently released the ModFree Mini ITX series chassis.

This series of chassis belongs to the InWin ModFree ecosystem. The main body is a mini-ITX motherboard supported chassis with integrated graphics, and additional support for graphics cards, water cooling, etc. can be obtained by adding expansion modules.

The ModFree Mini ITX series chassis includes two versions, short and long, and there are three appearances to choose from: Timber elegant maple, Mesh low-key black, and Monarch white and orange.

The ModFree Mini ITX series chassis is compatible with a 65mm high CPU cooler and a 170mm long power supply. The IO panel is equipped with 1 USB Type-C 20G interface and 2 USB Type-A 5G interfaces and 1 3.5mm two-in-one audio jack.

The short ModFreeMiniMod-II version includes a 2.5-inch hard drive bay;

The long ModFreeMiniMod-III version also additionally includes a two-in-one bracket, which can be used to install 2 2.5-inch hard drives or 1 3.5-inch hard drive or 1 120mm fan/water cooler.

Users can choose to add the Mod-II expansion module to add support for a 320mm long 3.5-slot thick graphics card or a 280 water cooler;

Or they can choose to add the Mod-III expansion module to add support for a 420mm long 3.5-slot thick graphics card or a 420 water cooler.

The short ModFreeMiniMod-II chassis is priced starting from 2490 New Taiwan dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 80 US dollars), and the long ModFreeMiniMod-III chassis is priced starting from 2790 New Taiwan dollars (currently about 88 US dollars).
