Great Wall Zhika PT Model Off the Line with Super Hybrid Technology

TapTechNews May 23rd, the new heavy-duty truck product of Great Wall Commercial Vehicles, the Great Wall Zhika PT model, which is a new forward-research heavy-duty truck, was officially off the production line in Xingtai Factory on May 21st. The first PT model off the line is a super hybrid intelligent heavy-duty truck customized and developed for the trunk line logistics scenario. The new model is expected to be officially launched in the second half of this year.

The Great Wall Zhika PT model that was off the line this time, the overall design applies the design concept of 'round sky and square earth'. The body uses a large arc shape, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, narrow at the front and wide at the back. The overall body lines are smooth without corners. The roof part is rounded and applies the principle of aerodynamics to effectively reduce the vehicle's wind resistance coefficient.

It helps customers reduce fuel consumption to the greatest extent and further realizes cost reduction and efficiency increase.

Relying on the Great Wall DHT hybrid system, the technical team of Great Wall Commercial Vehicles has completed the development of a commercial vehicle-specific DHT hybrid system. The self-developed 8-speed DHT transmission, combined with a high thermal efficiency engine and a high-rate power battery, can realize the switching of more than ten working modes through series, parallel, and hybrid connections. Combined with intelligent control algorithms, it realizes the improvement of energy efficiency and driving experience in multiple scenarios and all regions of commercial vehicles.
