TapTechNews June 25th news, Valve has now started a 15% off special sale event for the 64GB and 512GB versions of the SteamDeck LCD gaming handheld, ending at 10 a.m. Pacific Time on July 11 (1 a.m. Beijing Time on July 12).
64GB: $296.65 (TapTechNews note: currently about ¥2163).
512GB: $381.65 (currently about ¥2783).
The SteamDeck gaming handheld supports self-changing hard drives. In addition to the built-in larger-capacity hard drive in the 512GB version, it also features an anti-glare etched glass screen and is bundled with a Steam profile pack.
It is reported that the 64GB and 512GB versions of the SteamDeck LCD handheld will gradually withdraw from the market, until sold out.
The future main models of SteamDeck will only include:
256GB LCD: $399 (currently about ¥2910).
512GB OLED: $549 (currently about ¥4003).
1TB OLED: $649 (currently about ¥4733).
For reference, the SteamDeck gaming handheld was released in February 2022 and is equipped with a custom AMD processor, and the upgraded OLED-screen model was launched in November 2023.
