The members of the openKylin community technical committee, Yu Jie and Liu Xiaodong, brought the theme report of openKylin for AIPC - The Construction Technology of the Intelligent Engine of the Operating System Based on the Terminal-side Large Model, introducing a series of practices of the openKylin community team in building the AIPC engine through technological breakthroughs in the model layer, system layer, and application layer on the openKylin open source operation + nine-grid terminal-side large model, and demonstrating its operating effect.

According to the introduction, the openKylin for AIPC version is deeply integrated with AI technology, providing unified AI interface capabilities, seamless integration with the desktop environment, and launching a series of intelligent functions including AI assistant, intelligent text-to-image generation, intelligent fuzzy search, etc., which is expected to greatly improve the office efficiency and creative experience of users on the domestic operating system. Especially through the application of the terminal-side large model technology, the deep integration of hardware and software enables users to independently run complex AI tasks locally without relying on cloud computing resources, fundamentally changing and reshaping the user experience.

The release of the previous openKylin 1.0 version filled the gap in the field of independent selection and independent construction of the core components of the operating system in China, promoting the iterative update of the domestic operating system for all scenarios, and providing basic security guarantees for important industries related to national economy and people's livelihood such as government affairs, finance, communications, energy, and transportation.
