TapTechNews June 29th news, Intel has listed on its official website the BMG series design tools related to the BMG-G31 GPU, confirming that the Battlemage series will include the flagship GPU with the code name G31.
The BMG-G31 is listed as "PTT Engagement - BGA3283 - BMG-G31 VR T&T Interposer - Prototypes", which means it will adopt the BGA3283 packaging and has 32 Xe2 cores.
In addition, Intel also mentioned "BGA2362 - BMG - X2 Interposer for the Gen5 VR Test Tool", indicating that this Battlemage GPU has 2362 pins.
According to previous revelations, there are currently three Battlemage GPUs that we know of, which TapTechNews summarizes as follows:
BMG-G10 (BGA-2362) has 28 Xe2 cores (canceled)
BMG-G21 (BGA-2727) has 20 Xe2 cores
BMG-G31 (BGA-3283) has 32 Xe2 cores
In contrast, the flagship Alchemist GPU "ACM-G10" adopts the BGA-2660 packaging. Judging from previous intelligence, Battlemage will be first available as early as the beginning of 2025, which is a delay compared to the originally announced "between 2023 and 2024" by Intel.
