Volkswagen's ID.BUZZ A New Electric Minivan with Impressive Features

TapTechNews June 29th news, recently, many netizens photographed the Volkswagen pure electric minivan, ID.BUZZ, appearing in China. This car was unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show last November and was confirmed to be introduced to the Chinese market.

TapTechNews learned that this car is an electric vehicle that pays tribute to the Volkswagen legendary model T1. According to the plan, the new car will initially provide a 5-seat version and later introduce a 6-seat version.

The car is built based on the Modular Electric Drive Matrix (MEB), with dimensions of 4712mm (approx. 15.5 feet)/1985mm (approx. 6.5 feet)/1937mm (approx. 6.3 feet) and a wheelbase of 2988mm (approx. 9.8 feet).

In terms of power, the car is equipped with a battery pack with a net capacity of 77 kWh (total capacity 82 kWh). The comprehensive cruising range under the WLTP condition is 423 kilometers. The car adopts rear-wheel drive, with a maximum power of the motor of 150 kW (204 hp) and a peak torque of 310 N·m, and a top speed of 145 km/h. In terms of charging, the fast charging power of the car can reach 170 kW, and it can be charged from 5% to 80% in 30 minutes.

In March this year, Volkswagen also released the more powerful ID.Buzz GTX, which was equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive system for the first time, and the maximum power reached 335 horsepower. The new car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.5 seconds.
