Kingsoft Office's overseas version adopts AWS's generative AI technologies

TapTechNews June 18th, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced today that Kingsoft Office's overseas version has adopted AmazonBedrock and other generative AI technologies and services. The artificial intelligence application WPSAI was officially launched overseas, targeting three aspects such as AIGC (content creation), Copilot (intelligent assistant), and Insight (knowledge perception), to create an one-stop intelligent office platform for global users.

According to the introduction, in terms of content creation, based on the AnthropicClaude3 series models supported by AmazonBedrock, WPSAI can provide users with functions such as semantic checking, content rewriting, document polishing, and one-click generation of PPT.

Since the overseas version of WPSAI started the test, the monthly active device count of overseas products driven by AI has exceeded 200 million.

TapTechNews found out through public information that since Kingsoft Office started its overseas business in 2007, it has used the cloud services provided by Amazon Web Services, and the cooperation between the two parties has lasted for more than ten years. WPSOffice, the official overseas website of WPS, and the desktop version of the WPS application under Kingsoft Office are all running on Amazon Web Services.
