Regarding this, an insider of Dongfeng Company told China Business News that in fact Dongfeng Nissan is renting the factory to produce its models, and Lantu also adopts a similar mode.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, Lantu Zhiyin has passed the declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the production address is located at 8 Yunfeng Avenue, Junshan Street, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hubei Province.
Public information shows that the project name of Yunfeng Factory is Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. Passenger Car Expansion Project. It is a factory built by Dongfeng Motor Company using advanced technologies such as digitization and intelligence. It has the production capacity of various models such as fuel vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and pure electric vehicles, and is not the Dongfeng Nissan Factory reported by the early media, and the models put into production are not limited to joint-venture models.
As shown in the figure, the new car's exterior adopts the latest design style. The front face retains the light strip of the through design, and adopts the currently popular floating roof design technique. It also supports the optional blackened grille and vents.
In terms of dimensions, the new car's length, width and height are 4725/1900/1636(1653)mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2900mm, positioned as a medium-sized pure electric SUV.
In terms of power, the declared information shows that the new car is equipped with a single motor (CATL ternary lithium/iron phosphate lithium) with a maximum power of 215/230 kilowatts or a dual-motor (multiple factories' iron phosphate lithium) with 160/160 kilowatts.
