TapTechNews June 21, according to the German media Hardwareluxx, ASUS showed the next-generation NUC mini PC with the code name LunarCanyon at Computex 2024 in Taipei.
As the name suggests, LunarCanyon is equipped with Intel's upcoming Lunar Lake processor, so this NUC will adopt a MoP on-board memory design that cannot be replaced.
As ASUS's new generation of AI NUC products, LunarCanyon is equipped with 1 physical Copilot button on the front to facilitate users who don't have a Copilot key on the keyboard to call out the AI assistant WindowsCopilot.
The front of LunarCanyon also includes a power-on button, 2 5Gbps USB Type-A interfaces, 1 3.5mm headphone jack, and also a Thunderbolt Type-C interface, it is not yet clear whether this interface supports the latest Thunderbolt 5 standard.
On the back, LunarCanyon provides 1 DC power port, 1 2.5G wired network port, 1 HDMI interface, 2 10Gbps Type-A interfaces and another unspecified version of Thunderbolt Type-C interface.
More information of ASUS's next-generation NUC mini PC LunarCanyon (TapTechNews note: such as storage support) is expected to be disclosed to the public in the third quarter of this year.
