Huawei Guangzhou R & D Center (Phase I) Project Update Near Completion and Future Prospects
TapTechNews July 9th news, Guangzhou, China announced that the project of Huawei Guangzhou R & D Center (Phase I) is close to completion, and it is expected that the overall office area will be completed and delivered in September this year.
According to the introduction, this project is the first R & D base of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou, covering an area of about 119,300 square meters and a total construction area of about 305,000 square meters. It includes 8 R & D buildings, 1 hotel, 1 cooling tower, the guard room and a two-story basement. After completion, it can accommodate about 5,000 people to work.
The official pointed out that the project plans to engage in the R & D in the fields of intelligent vehicles, cloud computing and the Internet of Things, accelerate the application of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in various industries in Guangzhou, seize the industrial strategic highlands such as the deep integration of industrialization and informatization, smart cities, and 5G, and promote the formation of a hundred-billion-level future industrial cluster such as intelligent vehicles and autonomous driving, and build it into a demonstration project of the construction of the two districts and the linkage of the two cities.
TapTechNews found out that the project of Huawei Guangzhou R & D Center (Phase I) is located in the Bay Area New Shore Area, Songzhou Street, Baiyun District. The park has two entrances, the main entrance is located on Qingqiao Street, and the secondary entrance is located on Songnan Road.
The official said that Songzhou Street will take Huawei Guangzhou R & D Center as the leading traction to accelerate the agglomeration of upstream and downstream parts enterprises in Huawei's intelligent vehicle supply chain, and introduce the new force enterprise resources and supporting industrial services and other digital and intelligent upstream and downstream industries that Huawei focuses on investing.
According to the official introduction, at present, the main structure of the 9 towers of this project has all been capped, and the sub-project construction is in progress, among which:
The curtain wall installation in the office area is completed 90%
The electromechanical engineering, fire protection installation, and indoor rough decoration are all completed 95%
The indoor fine decoration is completed 90%
The outdoor garden is completed 30%
The indoor fine decoration is expected to be completed in July
The curtain wall installation is expected to be completed in mid-August
