According to an official blog post, the ARM-optimized Opera scored double that of the emulator version in Speedometer performance tests, promising users the best user experience, especially on the latest ARM-based Windows computers.

Thanks to support from Microsoft's AppAssure team and Qualcomm, the latest Opera version runs over two times faster on next-gen computers. Opera aims to provide the best experience for all devices, including the latest Windows computers powered by Snapdragon processors.

In addition to improved performance, Opera for ARM also promises better energy efficiency. The company claims that users can maximize battery life on Snapdragon X series-powered computers by combining the energy-saving design of the processor with the browser's built-in power-saving mode. Existing ARM chip computer users can also expect significant boosts in performance and energy efficiency.

Currently, the Opera browser for Windows on ARM is only available in the developer channel, but a stable version should be released soon.
