Taiwan's Novatek Enters Apple's iPhone 16 OLED Driver IC Supply Chain via LG Display

TapTechNews on June 18. According to a report by Taiwanese media Economic Daily today, Novatek of Taiwan has entered the supply chain of Apple's iPhone 16 OLED driver IC through LG Display, confirming the report of South Korean media TheElec in April.

The supply chain reveals that Novatek will successively deliver OLED driver ICs to LG Display in July this year, and hand them over to OEM to assemble new machines after assembling the panel module in the third quarter.

The media expects that the shipment volume of Novatek OLED driver ICs in the second half of this year will increase by 50% compared to the first half, and the ratio of shipments in the first half and the second half will be 4:6.
