Kirin Software's Klink A Cross-Platform Linux Interconnection Component

TapTechNews June 18th, with the popularity of smart terminal devices, the application scenarios of interconnection and interoperability among multiple smart terminal devices are increasingly rich, and the application scenarios of multi-device interconnection and interoperability require developers to implement communication protocols separately. In order to solve the problem of cross-platform interconnection and interoperability, the ConnectivitySIG established by the Xingguang Kirin team under Kirin Software announced that it has created a cross-platform universal Linux end-to-end interconnection component - Klink.

According to the introduction, Klink decoupled the application of the software bus module to multi-system platforms and achieved compatibility with the cross-platform software bus protocol, including the Hongmeng software bus 4.x protocol, etc., so that various mainstream Linux distributions including the openKylin open source operating system and the Galaxy Kirin desktop operating system can all have cross-platform interconnection and interoperability. Klink, as a unified communication base, realizes two end-to-end interconnection capabilities:

One is the distributed hardware resource sharing ability. Abstract the hardware capabilities of terminal devices as basic capabilities such as display, camera, and audio, and realize immediate collaboration and computing power sharing among devices based on Klink technology.

The second is the cross-terminal interconnection and interoperability ability. Supports device discovery, device networking, device authentication, and device connection among multiple devices, realizes the rapid transmission of data such as pictures and files among devices, seamless content flow, and supports multi-device collaboration and screen sharing.
