TapTechNews October 3rd news, Rolls-Royce announced on September 30 local time that it will launch the Spectre Lunaflair custom version car. This car is the latest product of Rolls-Royce's advanced custom department and is customized for important customers, with only one unit produced.
According to the official introduction, the paint inspiration of this car comes from the moon halo phenomenon (TapTechNews note: when the light of the moon passes through high and thin white clouds and is refracted by ice crystals to form a colored aperture), Rolls-Royce spent a year researching and experimenting with the paint and spraying process.
This car's paint surface has seven layers of paint, including a layer of pearlescent paint modulated with a special formula. Magnesium fluoride and aluminum flakes are added to this pearlescent paint to produce a deep metallic effect in low light, and when the sunlight shines on it, it will turn into a bright rainbow color.
This car adopts a fully customized interior, which is matched by navy blue, white and peony pink, and is applied to seats, door panels and starlight headliners.
In terms of power, this custom model is the same as the original car, equipped with a front and rear dual-motor system, with a maximum power of 585 horsepower and a peak torque of 900 N·m. The WLTP working condition cruising range is 530 kilometers, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 4.5 seconds.
