Domestic Superconducting Quantum Computer Key Equipment Upgraded

TapTechNews on June 11, it was learned from China News Service that the domestic superconducting quantum computer key equipment - the domestic dilution refrigerator of Yuanshi SL1000 was successfully upgraded and offline in Hefei from Anhui Province Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center, indicating that China has reached the international advanced level in the field of dilution refrigeration.

The dilution refrigerator is one of the key core equipment of superconducting quantum computers, which can provide an extremely low temperature operating environment close to absolute zero for quantum computers. In addition to the field of quantum computing, dilution refrigerators are widely used in frontier technology fields such as condensed matter physics, materials science, and deep space exploration.

The Anhui Province Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center is jointly established by Yuanshi Quantum and the Key Laboratory of Quantum Information of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and will take quantum computing as the research and development direction, and is committed to promoting the engineering and industrialization of China's quantum computers.

TapTechNews noted that in April this year, Yuanshi Quantum successfully delivered a domestic Yuanshi SL400 dilution refrigerator to a 985 university in China. This dilution refrigerator can provide an extremely low temperature environment below 10 mK and a cooling capacity of not less than 400 μW @ 100 mK, with a cooling time within 30 hours and a heating time within 24 hours.
