GAC Toyota's New Camry 2.5-Liter Hybrid Version Launched

This newly added model continues the style of the existing models in design, and provides two different appearance options. The car adopts the latest Toyota design language, with a single-strip front grille and C-shaped headlight groups upfront, and a small duck-tail wing design at the rear.
In terms of body dimensions, the length, width and height of the Camry 2.5-liter hybrid version are 193.5 (194.9)/72.4 (72.8)/57.1 inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 111.6 inches, which is the same as the current models.
The new car is equipped with a hybrid power system composed of a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, and the maximum power of the 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine is 180 kilowatts.
The official said that the new car has achieved power improvement, lightweight and miniaturization, and the three-electric system has been comprehensively innovated, characterized by miniaturization, lightweight and strong power to enhance the intelligent electric driving performance.
In addition, TapTechNews noticed that the new car provides limited-time car purchase rights and interests, including replacement subsidies, financial gifts, etc., as well as battery worry-free rights and interests, which are applicable to customers who place orders before June 30, 2024 and deliver the cars before August 31. Consumers can also choose exterior colors such as Platinum White Pearl, Blazing Red, Cyber Gray and so on, as well as two-color bodies, but additional fees need to be paid.
At present, the ninth-generation all-new Camry has been launched in the Chinese market. In the early stage, the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated and 2.0-liter hybrid models were launched. This newly launched one is the 2.5-liter hybrid version. As a midsize car, the competitors of Camry include Honda Accord, Nissan Teana and Volkswagen Magotan/Passat and other models. Judging from the sales data, the sales volume of Camry reached 9,323 units in April this year, which is close to that of Accord.
