Over the past year, Nvidia's stock has risen by 240%, and Huang received a total of $26.7 million dollars in annual stock awards (approximately 1.93 billion RMB), compared to $19.7 million dollars in the previous year.

In addition, due to Nvidia's revenue exceeding the excess compensation plan target in the 2024 fiscal year, Huang also received a $4 million dollars (approximately 28.96 million RMB) non-equity incentive plan compensation, which he also received in the 2022 fiscal year but not in the 2023 fiscal year.

Other sources of compensation amount to approximately $2.5 million dollars, including $2.2 million dollars for security, consulting, monitoring, and driver services. Nvidia stated that due to the high profile of the CEO, and based on the board's independent evaluation of executive security plans, Nvidia provides security protection for Mr. Huang.

Huang's income is higher than his peers at AMD and Intel. AMD CEO Lisa Su's total compensation was $30.4 million dollars in 2023, while Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger's income was $16.9 million dollars.
