On May 12, TapTechNews reported that blogger @i冰宇宙 shared a schematic diagram of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable phone, which is said to be based on real data.
The diagram shows that the Galaxy Z Fold 6's internal screen size is 7.6 inches, with an aspect ratio of 8:6.9, and a unfolded size of 132.6mm*153.5mm. In addition, the weight of the device is 238g and the thickness when unfolded is 5.6mm. The blogger referred to this new device as a vivo X Fold 3 mini version, with screen aspect ratios mostly in 8:7 ratio.
For comparison, the internal screen size of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is also 7.6 inches, with an unfolded thickness of 6.1mm, weight of 253g, and unfolded size of 129.9mm*154.9mm.
Previously, source OnLeaks shared high-resolution renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The new device features a more square appearance, with three microphones and a speaker grille at the top, and a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille at the bottom.
Similar to its predecessor, the device's back panel vertically houses 3 cameras, with an LED flash located next to the camera island. The outer screen has a center-hole front camera, while the internal screen also has an under-display camera.
