TapTechNews June 15th news, TapTechNews learned from the official Chinese railway that at 8 am today, the first G871 Fuxing bullet train operating at a high standard speed of 350 kilometers per hour set off from Wuhan Station, marking the comprehensive completion of the safety standard demonstration line of the Wuhan-Guangzhou section of the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, and the realization of the Fuxing bullet train on the entire Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway operating at a high standard speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

At the same time, 24 sets of Fuxing intelligent bullet trains have been newly put into use on the entire Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, and the number of high-quality benchmark trains has increased to 99. The travel time between many cities along and around the line is further compressed, and the operation quality of the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway is further improved, which will provide passengers with a better travel experience.

It is learned that the realization of the Fuxing bullet train on the entire Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway operating at a high standard speed of 350 kilometers per hour will increase the overall transport capacity by 4.2%, equivalent to adding a maximum of 10.8 sets of high-speed rail trains from Beijing to Guangzhou every day and adding 16,000 seats. From June 15th, 16 sets of regular high-speed rail trains will be added to the busy sections such as Zhengzhou-Wuhan, Wuhan-Changsha, and Changsha-Hengyang respectively; the number of high-speed rail trains departing and arriving daily at Wuhan, Hankou, Changsha South, and Guangzhou Baiyun Station will increase by 13 sets, 14 sets, 36 sets, and 37 sets respectively.

In addition, the travel time will also be further compressed.

The fastest travel time from Beijing West, Wuhan, and Changsha South to Guangzhou South can be reached in 7 hours and 16 minutes, 3 hours and 17 minutes, and 1 hour and 59 minutes respectively, which is 22 minutes, 23 minutes, and 19 minutes shorter than the current ones respectively.

Through cross-line operation via the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, the fastest travel time from Beijing West to Shenzhen North and Hong Kong West Kowloon is compressed to 7 hours and 50 minutes and 8 hours and 12 minutes respectively.

The fastest travel time from Guangzhou South to Taiyuan South, Xi'an North, and Lanzhou West is compressed to 7 hours and 58 minutes, 7 hours and 3 minutes, and 9 hours and 53 minutes respectively.

The fastest travel time from Shenzhen North to Taiyuan South is compressed to 8 hours and 37 minutes.
