Chinese Company Zhixun Innovation Achieves Mass Production of 512Mb 2D NAND Flash Memory Chip

TapTechNews July 3rd, A domestic memory chip enterprise, Zhixun Innovation, announced yesterday the successful mass production of a 512Mb high-reliability industrial-grade 2D NAND flash memory chip.

The capacity of 512Mb enables this 2D NAND flash memory chip to accommodate both system codes and user data, leaving sufficient space for subsequent system code upgrades.

Zhixun Innovation said that this brand-new flash memory chip has fully met the requirements of industrial-grade performance and reliability while comprehensively optimizing the chip size, achieving the smallest chip size among the same capacity in the industry, and the cost-performance advantage is prominent.

This flash memory chip supports multi-bit on-chip ECC error correction, with up to 100,000 erase/write cycles, and can operate in a temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, meeting strict industrial-grade tests. Zhixun Innovation is also verifying the corresponding automotive-grade version of this chip.
