TapTechNews July 5th news, Samsung released a press release on July 3rd, where it clearly stated that the Galaxy AI service is not entirely free and may charge users after 2026.
TapTechNews translated the fine print of Samsung as follows: "The related functions of Galaxy AI will continue to be provided free of charge to eligible Galaxy devices until the end of 2025."
This indicates that by 2026, some functions of Galaxy AI will not be available for free on Samsung devices such as the Galaxy S24 series of phones, and Samsung may further distinguish functions based on user levels later, with free users only able to use some basic functions while paid users can unlock the full functions.
Samsung focused on promoting the Galaxy AI function in the press release and invited global Samsung users to participate in the experience, and has set up dedicated experience areas in seven cities such as Paris, Dubai, and Tokyo.
