Referring to TapTechNews' previous reports, Apple officially announced the brand new Siri driven by Apple Intelligence at the 2024 annual WWDC Global Developers Conference on June 11th. Apple stated that in iOS 18, users will be able to have a more natural conversation with Siri. The new Siri can understand the context, so you don't have to repeat information in subsequent requests.

AppIntents allows Siri to deeply cooperate with first-party and third-party applications, sense the content you are currently viewing on the screen and take in-app operations. Apple demonstrated allowing the Photos application to edit the picture you are looking at, and Siri will execute the adjustment on your behalf.

However, the brand new Siri still has a hardware threshold, at least using an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the upcoming iPhone 16 series will also support Apple Intelligence.

In terms of the Mac, users need a Mac equipped with an M1 or a later version. For the iPad, users need an iPad Pro or iPad Air equipped with an M1 chip or a later version.
