Taobao to Add '15 Days Guaranteed Survival' Service for Some Categories

TapTechNews August 13th news, Taobao officials said that in order to improve the shopping experience of buyers and enhance the shopping trust between buyers and sellers, Taobao.com plans to add a special service of 15 days guaranteed survival for the categories of fresh flower delivery/flower simulation/green plant gardening and agricultural supplies.

Qualified sellers and goods can apply to display the service logo of 15 days guaranteed survival and fulfill this service to consumers.

According to the introduction, the 15 days guaranteed survival service means that after a buyer purchases a good with the logo of 15 days guaranteed survival on Taobao.com, if the plant withers and dies due to reasons such as express delivery and maintenance within 15 days after receipt, the buyer can file a service application with the seller. If the buyer provides valid evidence of the withered/died of the goods, the transaction supports refunding the buyer.

TapTechNews learned that when the buyer provides evidence, the following requirements should be met:

The buyer needs to provide clear photos of the death of the flower plant, including at least one frontal/overhead photo of the whole plant (including the container, such as a flower pot) and at least one detailed part photo of the rotted or dead part of the plant (such as the stem and leaves, the root).

The flower plant in the photo is consistent with the variety of goods sold by the seller.
