Insiders said that the demand for production line workers has increased rapidly, and the hourly wage of workers has risen to a maximum of $3.6 (25 yuan), and the bonus is up to $1100 (7500 yuan) for working in the manufacturing workshop for 3 months. In the past two weeks, at least 50,000 new employees have entered the factory, and large-scale recruitment is still ongoing. If there is still a shortage of manpower in the subsequent production, it won't be a problem if the bonus goes up to $1170 (8000 yuan). According to him, The current production line has already started full-scale mass production of the new iPhone 16 series.
In late July this year, Hon Hai's subsidiary Foxconn Technology Group signed a cooperation agreement with the Henan provincial government to invest in the construction of a new business headquarters building in Zhengzhou to carry the function of the new business headquarters. The goal is to build Zhengzhou Airport into the core production base of Foxconn's electric vehicles.
In terms of the solid-state battery project, the solid-state battery industry will be laid out and developed in Zhengzhou Airport, focusing on the research and development and production of solid-state electrolytes, semi-solid and all-solid-state battery cells.
