FAW Hongqi's Strong Sales Performance in the First Half of 2024 with New Models Launched

The data shows that the wholesale sales from January to June exceeded 201,530 units, with a year-on-year increase of 42.6%; the retail sales from January to June exceeded 190,950 units, with a year-on-year increase of 25%.

For reference, Hongqi brand's retail sales in May exceeded 30,800 units, with a year-on-year increase of 33.8%; the cumulative retail sales from January to May exceeded 156,800 units, with a year-on-year increase of 26.3%.

Accordingly, it can be inferred that Hongqi brand's retail sales in June was 34,150 units, with a month-on-month increase of 10.88%.

In the middle of June this year, the all-new Hongqi national gift (TapTechNews note: originally Hongqi L5) was officially launched, and the official guide price was $1.01 million. The car has a length, width and height of 5980 x 2090 x 1710 millimeters, and the wheelbase is 3730 millimeters. It is equipped with a 3988-ml displacement, 285-kW engine.

Also in June, the 2024 Hongqi H6 has also been officially launched. The car is positioned as a medium-sized coupe, equipped with a 2.0T engine, and the official guide price range is $26,500-$35,000.
