According to TapTechNews on June 5, Tencent Smart Mobility and ECARX Technology today announced an upgraded strategic cooperation. The two sides have established a partnership since 2019, and this signing will further strengthen cooperation in the fields of intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit.
In terms of intelligent driving, under the premise of compliance with regulations and safety, the two sides will combine Tencent's cloud computing, artificial intelligence, mapping, virtual simulation, big data and other technologies to assist the development and mass production of ECARX Technology's intelligent driving functions.
The two sides will explore the possible compliance plans and services under the 'ehicle-map-cloud integration' model. ECARX Technology will integrate Tencent's light map and cloud services into the research and development of intelligent driving, and jointly develop an urban advanced assisted driving solution with the integration of terminal and cloud.
In terms of intelligent cockpit, based on ECARX Technology's intelligent cockpit service framework and hand-car interconnection solution, the two sides will continue to introduce Tencent's in-vehicle entertainment ecological capabilities, such as music, news, WeChat, mini-programs, travel and game services and other in-vehicle applications.
The two sides will also jointly build and optimize the large model base for automotive intelligence.
