Zeekr to Enter Japanese Market in 2025 and Its Global Expansion

TapTechNews August 12th news, according to the Nikkei report, Chen Yu, vice president of Zeekr Intelligent Technology, said in an interview that Zeekr plans to enter the Japanese market in 2025.

Currently, Zeekr has entered nearly 30 international mainstream markets including Sweden, the Netherlands, Thailand, Mexico, etc. It will enter 50 countries and regions around the world by the end of 2024, covering Europe, Asia, Oceania and Latin America.

In addition, the right-hand drive version of Zeekr X has started delivery in right-hand drive markets such as Thailand and Singapore.

The latest sales figures officially released by Zeekr show that Zeekr delivered 15,655 units in July, a year-on-year increase of 30%; from January to July, a total of 103,525 units were delivered, a year-on-year increase of 89%.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, as of the end of July, Zeekr has cumulatively delivered 300,000 cars in 33 months , setting a new fastest record for pure electric new forces.
