Currently, Ferrari is building a new factory in Maranello, Italy, for the production of hybrid and pure electric supercars, which is scheduled to be unveiled by the end of next month. Benedetto Vigna revealed that this electric vehicle will not deliberately imitate the roar of an internal combustion engine but will'reinterpret' the sound of the electric motor. Currently, some customers under the age of 50 and older customers have expressed interest in buying this new car.

Benedetto Vigna also talked about Chinese electric vehicles. He believes that the emergence of Chinese electric vehicles should be a 'clarion call' for European automakers to make Europe no longer complacent. 'For me, this is a call to action for Europe. This is a good competition.'

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Ferrari's Q1 financial data this year shows that the sales volume in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of this brand is 1573 units, an increase of 39 units compared to last year, with a year-on-year increase of 3%; the sales volume in the Americas region is 997 units, an increase of 35 units compared to last year, with a year-on-year increase of 4%.
