Wikipedia's Mobile Web Version Finally Gets Dark Mode

TapTechNews July 13th news, the mobile web version of Wikipedia has finally caught up. Today, the dark mode was launched. When users now visit the Wikipedia page, a prompt of 'Try the dark mode today' will pop up, and users can click to enter the settings page to enable the dark mode.

Apple and Google companies started to promote the dark mode in 2018. Basically, mainstream applications including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Hulu and WhatsApp have all adapted to support the dark mode, and now Wikipedia has finally followed up.

TapTechNews note: This dark mode is limited to the mobile web version of Wikipedia (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/), and the desktop web version of Wikipedia (https://www.wikipedia.org/) has not taken effect yet.

A user in the Reddit community reported that the desktop web version of Wikipedia will take effect this month.
