During its lifecycle, Jaguar produced a total of 87,731 F-Type sports cars, 15,000 more than the E-Type.

The last F-Type will be sent along with the last XE, XF and XF Sportbrake that came off the line to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection in Gaydon, UK, although Jaguar showrooms will still sell F-Type inventory cars until early next year.

With the end of production of these three models, Jaguar will have only the I-Pace, E-Pace and F-Pace SUV models on sale for the rest of 2024.

The production of the Jaguar F-Pace will remain at Solihull factory, while the E-Pace and I-Pace will also be produced at Graz factory in Austria until next year.

According to an official announcement, Jaguar will release an electric car later this year, which is a luxury touring sedan based on the new JEA platform with a range of up to 430 miles (TapTechNews note: about 692.02 kilometers) and a starting price of more than £100,000 (currently about 927,000 yuan), and is expected to be equipped with a dual-motor powertrain with a combined output power of more than 575 horsepower.

Jaguar Land Rover's chief creative officer, Gerry McGovern, had previously used the E-Type and XJS as blueprints for the new car, but also emphasized that it would be unique. McGovern said, Jaguar needs those wow-moments, needs that wow-feeling.

It is learned that after this GT model, Jaguar will also launch a luxury SUV model competing with Bentley Bentayga and a large sedan replacing the aborted XJ electric sedan.
