Solidigm released the D5-P5336 enterprise-class QLC solid-state drive with the largest capacity of 61.44 TB at that time in 2023, and the new generation of products will double the capacity based on the D5-P5336.

The 122 TB solid-state drive sample demonstrated by Solidigm is located in a 2U-height server. According to the test screen image, this solid-state drive adopts PCIe 4.0 interface and U.2 form factor.

In terms of performance, the 128KQD256 sequential read of Solidigm's sample can reach 7186 MB/s, and the 128KQD256 sequential write, which is relatively weak in QLC, can also reach 3307 MB/s; in addition, the 4KQD512 random read of this drive can also reach 1269 KIOPS.

Solidigm said that this 122 TB solid-state drive is expected to be released in early 2025. This drive is expected to be mass-shipped in the first half of 2025.
