TCL Launches New 50XL and 50XE NXTPAPER Smartphones in North America

TapTechNews July 18th news, TCL launched two mobile phones, TCL 505G and TCL 50SE, at CES2024 in January this year, both starting from 149.99 euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 1190 Chinese yuan).

TCL has now launched the new TCL 50XL and 50XE NXTPAPER models in North America. Among them, the TCL 50XL NXTPAPER 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip, adopts a 6.8-inch NXTPAPER eye protection screen, with a resolution of 1080X2460, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone uses a rear 50MP main camera + 5MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP depth-of-field camera, a front 32MP self-portrait camera, has a built-in 5010mAh battery, supports 18W fast charging, side fingerprint unlocking, and pre-installs Android 14 system. The 6+128GB version starts at 199 US dollars (currently about 1449 Chinese yuan).

The parameters of TCL 50XE NXTPAPER 5G are basically the same, but it uses a 6.6-inch display with only 720x1612 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a front 8MP lens. The 4+128GB version starts at 149 US dollars (currently about 1085 Chinese yuan).
