Wuling Xingguang S Compact SUV Debuting Soon with Multiple Features

TapTechNews June 29 news, according to the report of "Auto Emperor Vision", the Wuling Xingguang S model will officially debut on July 2. The new car is positioned as a compact SUV and will be launched in August.

TapTechNews noted that the exterior image of the Wuling Xingguang S has been currently released, offering four car paint colors including Xinghan White, Xingji Blue, Xingye Gray, and Xingshuo Gold. The car is equipped with split headlights, and both the front and rear lamp groups adopt a broken line design, matching with the two-color five-spoke wheel style. The length, width, and height are 4745/1890/1680 inches (about 120.5/47.9/42.6 centimeters), and the wheelbase is 2800 inches (about 71.1 centimeters).

In the interior aspect, the car has three color options available: Light Sand, Dark Black, and Coconut Brown. It adopts a wraparound cockpit design with leather soft wrapping and textured wood grain decoration; the center console is equipped with a floating liquid crystal instrument panel and a floating central control screen. The car system is equipped with voice control and multiple apps, and the physical button area of the air conditioner is retained below the center console.

The declared information shows that the Wuling Xingguang S PHEV version will be equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. The maximum power of the engine is 78 kilowatts, and the power of the electric motor has not been disclosed yet. The electric motor of the EV version has a maximum power of 150 kilowatts and is driven by a single electric motor.
