Elon Musk Announces Imminent Release of AI Model Grok2

TapTechNews August 12th news, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on the X platform on the evening of August 11 local time that the beta version of the artificial intelligence model Grok2 is about to be released.

Grok is the large language model Grok2 launched by Elon Musk's xAI company. Last month, Elon Musk confirmed on the X platform that Grok2 will be released in a few weeks. In response to a user's question about training data, he said that the model has greatly improved.

Elon Musk and xAI have not yet announced detailed information about this model. In March this year, Elon Musk once said that Grok2 will surpass the current generation of AI models in all indicators.

After the release of Grok2, it will be followed closely by Grok3, which Elon Musk previously said will be launched around the end of the year. He said that xAI has been training Grok3, and the level of this model will reach or exceed the yet-to-be-released OpenAI GPT-5, which is considered the next major breakthrough in the field of large language models.
