Tesla's Autopilot software director, Ashok Elluswamy, said that its FSD assisted driving system is expected to be launched for Cybertruck in September, which is another delay compared to the time previously promised by Musk (TapTechNews note: Musk said August update).

Earlier this month, a netizen also photographed a Tesla Cybertruck undergoing FSD testing in Florida, indicating that the FSD function is about to land on this unique electric pickup.

Due to the relatively low production of Cybertruck, Musk has also previously said that this model has a lower priority in FSD development. With the increase of production capacity of the Texas factory, the delivery volume of Cybertruck has gradually increased, and Tesla also began to provide test drive services in some areas last month.
