Xiaomi Responds to Rumor, Updates on SU7 Delivery and Network Expansion

TapTechNews May 31st, the general manager of public relations department of Xiaomi Group, Wang Hua, posted on Weibo today in response to the rumor of 'Xiaomi forcing suppliers to buy cars': 'Seeing that the delivery volume of Xiaomi SU7 is getting more and more stable and the delivery scale is getting larger and larger, the latest rumor has begun to create small essays. It seems that the legal department of Xiaomi has gained new achievements again.'

In the comments below, many netizens expressed the hope that Xiaomi would 'tep up efforts' and'should apologize and pay economic compensation', and Wang Hua said 'Apology is an external expression form of the judgment, and the compensation will still be paid.'

As of May 15th, 2024, the cumulative delivery of new cars in the Xiaomi SU7 series has reached 10,000.

According to the previous report of TapTechNews, Xiaomi officials disclosed at the quarterly analyst meeting that Xiaomi Automobile will start double shifts in the factory in June and will deliver at least 10,000 units that month. It will deliver at least 100,000 units and strive for 120,000 units this year.

Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun also previously revealed that by the end of this year, Xiaomi Automobile's sales network will cover 39 cities and 211 sales stores; the service network will cover 56 cities and 112 service centers.
