Meng Wanzhou to Serve as Huawei's Rotating Chairman

TapTechNews September 30th news, Huawei's official website announced today that according to the company's rotating chairman system, from October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, Ms. Meng Wanzhou will serve as the rotating chairman. The rotating chairman is the highest leader of the company during the tenure and presides over the company's board of directors and the standing committee of the board of directors.

Meng Wanzhou graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a master's degree. Joined Huawei in 1993. Served as the international accounting director of the company, the chief financial officer of Huawei Hong Kong Company, and the president of the accounting management department. Currently serves as the vice chairman, rotating chairman, and the company's CFO.

Before this, the rotating chairman of Huawei was Xu Zhijun, and the tenure was from April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024.
