Alphacool Launches Apex Skeleton Carbon Chassis with Impressive Features
TapTechNews August 9th news, Alphacool has launched the Apex Skeleton Carbon chassis. This chassis is specifically developed to meet the needs of water-cooled PCs, featuring an overall framework composed of carbon fiber rods and CNC-milled aluminum connectors, along with smoked glass side panels.
All components of the Apex Skeleton Carbon are fixed with screws, and users can adjust the placement position of the hardware by themselves. This chassis supports E-ATX motherboards and has 7 PCI(e) expansion slots. It supports 2+-slot thick graphics cards (normal installation) and ATX standard power supplies.
In terms of cooling, the apex Skeleton Carbon supports the installation of a 360 radiator on the front and also a 360 radiator on the top, and a 120 radiator can also be installed at the rear.
In addition, the apex Skeleton Carbon supports the installation of a 2.5-inch hard drive, and the front top provides 2 USB 3.0 Type-A interfaces and a pair of separate audio jacks.
The Alphacool apex Skeleton Carbon chassis includes the Pro model and the standard model. The difference between the two is that the Pro model includes a vertical mounting bracket for supporting 2+-slot thick graphics cards and a distribution plate (DistroPlate) customized for this chassis.
The pre-installed distribution plate of the Apex Pro Skeleton Carbon integrates a 750ml water tank, the Alphacool Apex split water pump, and multiple water cooling pipe interfaces, which can provide a convenient solution for split water cooling users.
In terms of pricing, the suggested retail price of the Apex Pro Skeleton Carbon is 999.98 euros (TapTechNews note: currently about 7837 RMB), while the standard model is 649.98 euros (currently about 5094 RMB).
