TSMC Announces July 2024 Revenue Data and Future Plans

TapTechNews August 9th news, TSMC today announced its revenue data for July 2024. The revenue in July was 256.953 billion New Taiwan dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 56.858 billion Chinese yuan), with a month-on-month increase of 23.6% and a year-on-year increase of 44.7%.

The total revenue of TSMC from January to July this year was 1,523.107 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 337.029 billion Chinese yuan), with a year-on-year increase of 30.5%.

Previously, it was reported that TSMC had successively informed many customers in late July that the prices of the two advanced processes of 5nm and 3nm will continue to increase in 2025. The specific increase range will depend on the different scales of customer wafer starts, products and cooperative relationships, falling within the range of 3% to 8%. In addition, the demand for advanced packaging of customers is continuously increasing, and TSMC needs to further expand its production capacity. TSMC will also raise the quotation of CoWoS services under this background.
