AVIC's First Domestic Private Cirrus SR22G6 Handover Ceremony Held

TapTechNews, Jun 25th. AVIC General Aviation officially announced that the domestic first private Cirrus SR22G6 aircraft handover ceremony was held on June 15th at the domestic Cirrus production line of AVIC General Aviation.

TapTechNews learned from the official that the Cirrus SR series aircraft is the leading model in terms of sales among the same type of aircraft in the world. The SR22 series aircraft has a range of up to 2167 kilometers (about 1346.6 miles), a commercial load of 605 kilograms (about 1333.8 pounds), and a power of up to 310 horsepower. It is also equipped with human-computer interaction devices such as a 12-inch widescreen display and a touchscreen controller, and has added auxiliary functions such as the G2000 avionics and automatic fuel switching.

In terms of safety, functions such as the FIK deicing system, built-in oxygen supply system, and whole-aircraft parachute installed on it have greatly improved the safety of personal recreational flying.

AVIC General Aviation officials said that they have customized exclusive personalized coating plans and customized operation and maintenance plans for customers, and established a model for providing overall solutions to private users.

After the handover ceremony, the aircraft safely transferred from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport to Chongqing Longxing Airport. After this aircraft is put into operation, it will take advantage of the east wind of deepening airspace reform in the southwestern region to deeply explore emerging consumer markets such as private flying and air taxis in China, and help develop new scenarios of the low-altitude economy.
