TapTechNews August 12th news, according to the latest Canalys report, in the second quarter of 2024, the smartphone shipments in Southeast Asia achieved a year-on-year growth of 14% to 23.9 million units.

Samsung's shipments reached 4.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 5%, with a market share of 18%;

OPPO (excluding OnePlus) shipments reached 4.2 million units, a year-on-year increase of 24%, with a market share of 17%;

Xiaomi's shipments reached 4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 37%, with a market share of 17%;

vivo's shipments reached 3.4 million units, a year-on-year increase of 37%, with a market share of 14%;

Transsion's shipments reached 3.3 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12%, with a market share of 14%.

In the Indonesian market, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Samsung, and Transsion rank the top five;

In the Philippine market, Transsion, Samsung, vivo, Xiaomi, and realme rank the top five;

In the Thai market, OPPO, Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, and vivo rank the top five;

In the Vietnamese market, OPPO, Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple, and vivo rank the top five;

In the Malaysian market, Xiaomi, Samsung, vivo, OPPO, and realme rank the top five.
