Honor's Jiang Hairong Responds to 'Honor 200 Appearance Leak' 'Fake, the real thing will definitely look better'

TapTechNews, May 11th news, at the recent Wuyou Media 'Night of Worry-Free' event, a staff member was photographed holding a device suspected to be the Honor 200 smartphone. In response, Jiang Hairong, CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) of Honor Terminal Co. Ltd. China, commented, 'It's fake. Rest assured, the real device will definitely look better.'

TapTechNews learned that a new Honor device model ELP-AN00 has completed network entry approval by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and passed radio certification and 3C certification in China, equipped with a 100W charger, presumably belonging to the Honor 200 series. This device has now acquired the three essential certificates required for launch, awaiting only the official announcement of its release date.

According to blogger @Digital Gossip Station, this new device features a 1.5K ultra-high frequency centered dual-hole display, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 series sub-flagship platform, supports a large battery with 100W fast charging, and includes a short telephoto lens. It is tentatively scheduled to appear in mid to late May.
