Google Pixel 9a Release Date, Specs, and More

TapTechNews October 1st news, the tech media AndroidHeadline released a blog post yesterday (September 30th), sharing the high-definition renderings of Google's Pixel 9a smartphone.

Release Date

The media predicts that Google will release the Pixel 9a phone around May next year and come with Android 15 system out of the factory.

Support Period

Like the Pixel 8a, Google's Pixel 9a will support 7-year updates.

Specifications

The Google Pixel 9a is estimated to be similar to the Pixel 8a, including a 6.1-inch screen, 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage, the chip is upgraded to Tensor G4, and the battery may be slightly larger (4492 mAh for Pixel 8a).

In addition, this may be the last Pixel device using a Samsung foundry processor. Previously, it was reported that Pixel 10 will adopt a processor completely customized by Google and manufactured by TSMC.

Camera
