New Buick GL8 ES Spotted in Announcement

TapTechNews June 13th, in today's announcement of the 384th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products new product publicity, TapTechNews spotted the new Buick GL8 ES model.

From the appearance point of view, the new car maintains a high degree of consistency in appearance with the previously launched new Buick GL8 LvZun PHEV, adopting a large-size dot-matrix grille. The LED daytime running lights on the upper part of the front face adopt a through-type design, forming a sharp contrast with the lower far and near headlight groups. At the same time, the vertical layout ventilation opening decorations on both sides of the front bumper are integrated with the headlight groups.

In terms of body dimensions, the new Buick GL8 ES has a length of 5219 / 1878 / 1807mm (about 17.1 feet / 6.16 feet / 5.93 feet) and a wheelbase of 3088mm (about 10.13 feet), which is consistent with that of the GL8 LvZun PHEV. Although the interior design is not shown in this application drawing, it can be inferred from the appearance changes that the new car will also adopt the same latest design as the GL8 LvZun PHEV.

In terms of the power system, the new Buick GL8 ES continues to be equipped with a 2.0T engine, with a maximum power of 174 kilowatts.
