Moondrop Releases U-2 Wired Earphones after Four Years

TechNews May 13th - Moondrop, after four years, has once again released the wired in-ear headphones U-2, priced at 199 yuan (approximately 30 USD).

It is reported that Moondrop U-2 headphones use a compression paper cone with polyester flexible edge composite diaphragm, adopting the same 'flexible edge-cone-dome' diaphragm structure as the full-frequency speaker unit, combined with flexible edge composites, claiming to bring a far superior full-frequency response range and a smoother three-frequency distribution than ordinary in-ear headphones.

The new headphones use a 14.8mm large dynamic coil unit, combined with N52 high-performance magnetic circuit and CCAW coil lightweight suspension system.

The U-2 also features a U-shaped brass tube to achieve resonance and air viscous damping, paying homage to the classic products that were once famous over thirty years ago.

In addition, Moondrop U-2 also provides a twisted pair silver plated cable and a 3.5mm single-ended headphone interface. Official test data from TapTechNews is available below:

Furthermore, their Joker over-ear headphones also introduced a single-sided version during the same period, 'Only for special purposes, not recommended for music listening,' priced at 399 yuan (approximately 60 USD).
