Compared with the previously leaked names, the main change in the new naming scheme is to change the 1 representing the processor generation to 3, and it is also clearly stated that the 10-core model also belongs to the Ryzen 9 level.

Counting from the PhoenixPoint processor that first introduced the NPU, StrixPoint is indeed the third-generation AMD APU processor with an NPU unit.

According to the information currently available to TapTechNews, the AMD StrixPoint processor will be based on TSMC's 4nm process. The CPU part adopts a dual CCX design and contains up to 4 Zen5 cores and 8 Zen5c cores, with 24MB L3 cache.

This series of processors will also carry up to an RDNA3.5 architecture iGPU with the scale of 8 WGP (16 CU) and an NPU with a computing power of more than 40 TOPS.

As an industry insider, @ThinkingAboutFuture also mentioned that the naming of StrixPoint will be unblocked in early June, and it can basically be confirmed that AMD will release this series of processors at the 2024 Computex Taipei.
