Apple to Launch AppleVisionPro Headsets in International Markets, Training Underway

TapTechNews readers Mr. Hangkong and Mr. Wuyingge provided clues, thank you! TapTechNews reported on May 14th that according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is set to launch AppleVisionPro headsets in countries and regions outside the United States. Retail store employees from around the world have flown to Cupertino to attend a 4-day VisionPro training course, which started last week. Apple has also held similar training courses before the VisionPro was launched in the United States, covering how to demonstrate to customers and answer their questions. Apple has not yet announced the exact launch date of the VisionPro in other countries and regions, but sources said the company plans to launch the VisionPro in international markets for the first time after WWDC24 Global Developers Conference. This year's Apple Global Developers Conference will be held from June 10th to 14th. Employees attending the training course come from Apple retail stores in Australia, China, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, so these countries and regions are likely to be the first markets to get the VisionPro after the United States. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that the VisionPro would be launched in more countries before WWDC, but the latest report from Bloomberg suggests it will be after WWDC, which is different from Kuo's prediction. Since its release, interest in VisionPro in the U.S. market has decreased, and Apple has reportedly reduced the shipment volume accordingly. Sales in international markets may revive consumer interest in the device, but the $3500 price tag (approximately 25,340 RMB as of current exchange rates) is still a major barrier to its popularity. Apple has not yet announced the price of the headset in non-U.S. regions.
