Alipay Launches AI Hair Self-Testing Tool

On June 7, TapTechNews reported that Alipay announced the launch of an "AI Hair Self-Testing" tool on Thursday. Users can upload several scalp photos and then identify the type and level of hair loss through the capabilities of the AI large model, and receive "health suggestions" from the AI.

According to Cai Kefa, the person in charge of the project, the original intention of developing this application is to hope that more people can understand their hair loss level timely and scientifically and avoid believing in folk remedies like rubbing potatoes and ginger on the head and missing the best maintenance opportunity. He also talked about his own experience about "hair loss": "The first time I realized I was losing my hair was when I saw the picture of dad drawn by my daughter in kindergarten, and there were only three hairs."

The "AI Hair Self-Testing" launched this time was jointly developed by Alipay and the doctor from the hair loss specialist outpatient department of a hospital in Hangzhou. Based on Ant Bailing multi-modal large model recognition technology, artificial intelligence and medical image processing and other technologies, users can take pictures and self-test at home, and the entire AI identification process takes about half a minute.
