Dongfeng Fengshen's 2025 L7 PHEV to Be Released on August 30th

TapTechNews August 26th news, Dongfeng Fengshen announced today that its 2025 L7 PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) will be released on August 30th. By comparison, the current Fengshen L7 PHEV's guided price ranges from $19,900 to $24,200.

Currently, the official has not disclosed relevant information about the new version of the 2025 Fengshen L7 PHEV. However, TapTechNews noticed that in the new product publicity map of the 385th batch of the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in July this year, the 2025 Fengshen L7 pure electric version was displayed, showing that the version (pure electric) model adopts a closed front grille + through-type light strip design, and the side of the body is a hidden door handle with optional sunroof, and at the same time uses an 18-inch wheel rim. It is expected that the PHEV version will have similar design elements.

In terms of the cockpit, for reference, the current Fengshen L7 adopts an enclosed cockpit layout, and is fully equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument and a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, equipped with the WindLinkOS3.0 vehicle-mounted system, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip is standard.

In terms of body size, the current the length, width and height of Dongfeng Fengshen L7 are 1846x750x639 inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 109.3 inches, equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. The comprehensive maximum power of the system is 265 kilowatts, and the comprehensive peak torque is 453 pound-feet. It provides two battery versions of 17 kWh and 30.2 kWh, and the corresponding CLTC pure electric cruising range is 68 miles and 127 miles respectively.
